Sensors, Transducers\Optical Sensors AEDR-8300-1W2 is a reflective surface mount optical encoder. This optical encoder employing reflective technology for motion control purposes. The encoder houses an LED light source and a photo-detecting circuitry in a single package. It offers two-channel quadrature digital outputs. Being TTL compatible, the outputs of the device can be interfaced directly with most of the signal processing circuitries. Hence the encoder provides great design-in flexibility and easy integration into existing systems. It provides motion sensing at a competitive cost, making it ideal for high volume applications. It is used in applications such as printers, copiers, card readers, scanners, cameras, motor solutions, automated wheel-chair, vending machines, low servo systems, ATM machines, textile machines, industrial sewing machines, consumer product applications. • Reflective technology • Two channel quadrature outputs for direction sensing • TTL compatible output, single supply voltage range from 3.3V to 5V • LED current is 18mA maximum, load capacitance is 100pF maximum • Rise time is 500ns typical at (CL = 25pF, RL = 2.7kW), fall time is 100ns typical at (CL = 25pF) • Detector supply current is 4.8mA typical at (Vcc = 5V) • Operating temperature range from -20°C to 85°C
