The Hall sensors convert the magnetic field component perpendicular to the surface of the chip into voltage. The AS5047U Sensor is designed to offer fast absolute angle measurement over a full 360° range. The 14-bit on-axis Magnetic Rotary Position Sensor features integrated Dynamic Angle Error Compensation (DAEC™) with almost 0 latency at a higher rotational speed. For increased signal quality at lower rotational speed, the Dynamic Filter System (DFS™) reduces transition noise. The robust design of the AS5047U Sensor suppresses the influence of any homogenous external stray magnetic field. The AS5047U features a standard four-wire SPI serial interface with Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) protection, allowing a host microcontroller to read 14-bit absolute angle position data and to program non-volatile settings without a dedicated programmer.
