Texas Instruments CDCLVP1208 and CDCLVP2104 clock buffers are highly versatile, low additive jitter buffers that can generate eight copies of LVPECL clock outputs from two LVPECL, LVDS, or LVCMOS inputs for a variety of communication applications. These TI clock buffers have a maximum frequency of up to 2 GHz. The CDCLVP1208 features an on-chip MUX for selecting one of two inputs that can be easily configured solely through a control pin. The TI CDCLVP1208 and CDCLVP2104 have an overall additive jitter performance of less than 0.1 ps. These clock buffers are designed specifically for driving 50Ω transmission lines. The CDCLVP1208EVM and CDCLVP2104EVM are evaluation modules designed to demonstrate the electrical performance of these TI clock buffers.
