Renesas Electronics F1958 7-Bit Digital Step Attenuator (DSA) is optimized for the demanding requirements of Base Transceiver Station (BTS) radio boards and numerous other non-BTS applications. The F1958 offers high reliability due to its construction from monolithic silicon die in a QFN package. The insertion loss is very low, with minimal distortion. The F1958 features extremely accurate attenuation levels, ensuring system gain is as close to the targeted level as possible. The F1958 DSA also features proprietary Glitch-Free ™ technology, which protects power amplifiers or ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converters) during transitions between attenuation states.
