They are also known as fork-wire terminals. You'll often see this type of connector used to attach wires to a stud, bus bar or other parts of an electrical system.
The units are made from brass with a copper-sleeved barrel to ensure they are strong and durable. They're fitted with nylon insulation, which has excellent non-conductive properties and is resistant to corrosion. The insulation has a flared design, allowing you to insert wires easily.
These terminals are certified as meeting the British safety standard (BS7671) for domestic wiring.
