These converters achieve a 3A of peak output current from 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage range with excellent load and line regulation. The MPQ2179 synchronous step-down converters feature 0.6V adjustable output voltage, 65mΩ and 35mΩ internal power MOSFETs switches, and external Soft Start (SS) control. These converters also feature 1% Feedback (FB) accuracy, output Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), and Short-Circuit Protection (SCP) with hiccup mode.
