Littelfuse Px0S3N High Surge Current SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors are designed to protect equipment located in hostile environments from overvoltage transients. The Px0S3N Thyristors protect exposed interfaces in industrial and ICT applications, such as RS-485 data interfaces or AC and DC power supplies. These thyristors offer a switching voltage (VS) much lower than alternative Gas Discharge Tubes (GDT) and a much lower on-state voltage (VT) than alternative GDTs, Metal Oxide Varistors (MOV), and TVS Diodes. The Littelfuse Px0S3N High Surge Current SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors provide a 3000A 8/20µs rating, enabling equipment compliance with regulatory and customer surge requirements.
