Connectors\Pin Headers SM16B-SURS-TF(LF)(SN) SUR series shrouded header is a 0.8mm pitch/disconnectable insulation displacement connector. The world's first 0.8mm pitch wire-to-board insulation displacement connector. Side entry type is only 3.9mm depth and 1.75mm height after mounting on the PC board. Compared to the conventional 1.0mm pitch SSR connector, occupation space on the board is reduced by 34% (side entry type). Although this shrouded header has locking features for its mating receptacle, there are no holes in the header shroud that would adversely effect vacuum pick and place equipment. The 3-point insulation grip feature and the strain relief ensure a firm grip on terminated wires and protection of the insulation displacement connection from possible damage. • Side entry type • 16 circuits, insulation resistance is 100Mohm minimum • Copper alloy, copper-undercoated, tin plated (reflow treatment) contact • PA, UL94V-0, natural wafer, withstanding voltage is 200VAC/minute • Brass, copper undercoated, tin plated (reflow treatment) solder tab • Super fine wires are applicable, twin U-slot insulation displacement section • Standard approvals are UL recognized E60389, CSA certified LR20812 • Applicable wire is AWG #32 with only 0.38mm OD, with this super fine wire, routing of wires is easy • Voltage rating is 30VDC, temperature range from -25℃ to +85℃, 3-point grip construction • Contact resistance is initial value/ 20mohm maximum, after environmental tests / 40mohm maximum
