Power\Power Management ICs\AC/DC Converters TOPSwitch™-JX cost effectively incorporates a 725V power MOSFET, high-voltage switched current source, multi-mode PWM control, oscillator, thermal shutdown circuit, fault protection and other control circuitry onto a monolithic device. It feature EcoSmart™ - energy efficient technology, high design flexibility for low system cost and extensive protection features. Typical applications includes notebook or laptop adapter, generic adapter, printer, LCD monitor, set-top box, PC or LCD TV standby, audio amplifier. It also features output overvoltage protection (OVP), line undervoltage (UV) detection prevents turn-off glitches, line overvoltage (OV) shutdown extends line surge withstand and accurate thermal shutdown with large hysteresis (OTP). • 46W (adapter), 73W (open frame) at 230VAC and 30W (adapter), 50W (open frame) at 85-265V O/P power • Energy efficient over entire load range, no-load consumption below 100mW at 265VAC • Up to 750mW standby output power for 1W input at 230VAC • Multi-mode PWM control maximizes efficiency at all loads • 132KHz operation reduces transformer and power supply size • Accurate programmable current limit, optimized line feed-forward for line ripple rejection • Fully integrated soft-start for minimum start-up stress, frequency jittering reduces EMI filter cost • 725V rated MOSFET, simplifies meeting design derating requirements • Output short-circuit protection, output overcurrent protection, output overload protection • Optimized line feed-forward for line ripple rejection
