These surface-mount LEDs feature a 20° and 35° half-angle dome for high irradiance and a simpler optical design for directional applications. The SST-05-IR LEDs are suitable for all SMT assembly methods. These surface-mount LEDs are stored within a temperature range of -40°C to 100°C. The SST-05-IR LEDs function with 1A forward current, 2.5W power dissipation, and 5V reverse voltage. These surface-mount LEDs also include a forward voltage range of 1.2V to 2V. The SST-05-IR LEDs are ideal for use in machine vision, surveillance systems, iris and face recognition, number plate scanning, automotive sensing, and night vision.
